Faded Mermaid (www.fadedmermaid.com) is a shopping solution for Generation X and Y girls looking to elevate their wardrobe. We offer fun, alternative, and trend-worthy styles. There is something for everyone on the site. Faded Mermaid is based in sunny Los Angeles, CA.

We are a women-owned, black-owned business and represent inclusivity. Our customers are forward-thinking it-girls that speak their minds and express themselves.

Right now we are looking for funding to expand. We want to increase our visibility so letting the masses know about us is key.  We are looking to hire a publicist so we can get placement in magazines and online media. Sponsorships at events and  influencers are also an important part of the process. We need more advertising funds as well. 

The e-commerce market size is huge!
 

Our future goals are to integrate a fashion social media network onto the site and also carry more inventory, more like a marketplace and not just a store.
