Stones That Give Back

I am a former homeless addict and breast cancer survivor who had to start working from home. At the time I got sick, I was running a small animal rescue in the Bronx. I didn't want to give up on the animals, so my husband  taught me to cut and polish Stone by hand. Little by little I learned to make beautiful creations from woods, metals and gemstones.Each piece is made by hand from the all the wood and metal cutting and shaping and all of the the stone cutting and polishing. I also make my own beads when needed.  I moved to Pennsylvania for less overhead and set up my own website since Etsy fees were to much. I have anywhere from 8 to 20 animals at any given time. Due to Covid, there was no TNR Spay & Neuter programs, so there are abandoned litters of kittens everywhere. I use the rest of the proceeds for medical bills. My goal is to use my business to fund a brick and mortar rescue so I can move it out of my home and take in more animals as well as a place for the sick and handicapped animals nobody wants. I felt like a throw away my whole life, I know how these abandoned and stray animals feel. I had an established Etsy shop until my illness prevented me from moving ahead. I am in remission now & am ready to start living my life and giving back.
