At She Is Inc our mission is to connect and empower creative women through events designed to build strong leadership skills to positively impact the development and confidence in women and children.

Who are We?

She Is Inc launched in March of 2019 as a networking platform for creative women to come together to connect, learn and collaborate. As our community began to grow, we wanted to spread the importance of not only being influencers through our creativity but also being impactors in our communities. In October of 2019 we decided to practice what we preach and launch our nonprofit chapter known as our G.E.M.S program...

Why We're Crowdfunding

We will be launching our G.E.M.S program in multiple high schools throughout New York City through a virtual workshop. Our G.E.M.S Program is designed for adolescent girls; to create a safe space to come together to support each other, talk to each other regularly, share experiences and gain enough confidence to know they are not alone. Each month we will feature a new topic of discussion with an activity to help build confidence in encouraging the girls to step out of their comfort zone. Each girl will be provided with a "Glow Bag" after every workshop that will contain schools supplies and feminine hygiene products.

Our young women will acquire better skills for success through learning about self-worth. This will then contribute to their academic success and personal growth. 

We will create a tribe of women who support each other, not tear each other down!

 Hello She Is Fam!

 I am a Mexican-American humanitarian with a passion for empowering women and girls to reach their fullest potential. I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and grew up with a desire to work in the fashion industry. In 2017, I moved to NYC to pursue fashion, and as I began my career, I saw the downside of the industry. I later discovered I wanted to be in an environment that would uplift and support one other, which is when She Is Inc was born.

​She Is… is a community for the like minded creative women to come together and make real things happen.  She is Community!

I'm an artist who was born & raised in Washington Heights and I work at a nonprofit in the education sector as a full-time graphic designer. I love all things art, food and fashion. I use my platform to show people you can look awesome on a budget and you can do things in NYC that don't break the bank either.

She is to me means a group of women who support and empower one another, help push each other to achieve their goals, and inspire others to do the same.

She is to me means, being a phenomenal woman. She is allows me (and you) to be yourself and not feel pressured by social media and today's society. It is a place where different cultures unite, support and learn from each other.

Born in California, raised in Minnesota, and living my dreams out here in NYC! I have lived in NY for 4 years and have fallen in love with its culture, energy, and diverse group of people! I enjoy working with people, which is why I am a Creative Connector at Artisan Talent, a boutique creative staffing agency. It is extremely rewarding for me to help people find their dream job! Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my dog ,Hughey, making cocktails, and listening to The Earful Tower by Oliver Gee (I have an obsession with the parisian culture!) My name is Jannyl, I am a 30-year-old Dominican young woman and mother of two boys. I am a fashion/mommy lifestyle blogger/curator—love being my own boss!  I remember being invited to the Wander Beauty POP UP in downtown NYC. I went with my girls and it’s been history since then! 

3.) What was the 1st event you attended? 

Wander Beauty x She Is Inc event was the first one I ever attended. I felt so welcomed by Celina & her girl squad. I enjoyed the details of the event including the infamous marketing activity that brought us all together in my opinion. I’ve built amazing friendships & met amazing women because of She Is Inc. It’s always empowering!

4.) How has She Is Inc made an impact on you personally and or professionally? 

Personally, I have found confidence in myself through She Is Inc. Guest Speakers & many other women that attend the events have a lot of influencing on that part. Professionally, I have learned a lot about my brand, how to navigate my goals, and tools to help me achieve those goals. It’s always a learning experience whenever I attend, She Is Inc Events. 

5.) Why do you continue to support She Is Inc's Organization?

My support will always be there for She Is Inc mainly because they have impacted so many lives and continue to do so. The fact that communities will now be involved in activities and charities proves to me and to everyone else that She Is Inc will always be around. My loyalty stands with them always. ​

Hi, I'm Franchesca and I have two platforms Stilspread & Bodega Girls/z. Stilspread is about breaking the barriers as an immigrant with style inspirations, style tips & skin.

At the first event Celina threw Wander Beauty!

3.) What was the 1st event you attended? Describe the atmosphere/vibe.

Wander Beauty x She is. The vibe was amazing! We had the opportunity to meet other like-minded women through activities that encouraged us to step out our comfort zone.

She Is Inc has made an impact on me personally! It has been so inspiring to see how She Is Inc has grown and made an impact on other women.

To be honest, it’s an organization that is genuine, you can tell by the members of the team. They don’t do things just for spotlight, there is a purpose!

Hi Everyone! My name is Taquilla Graves. I’m an energetic & outgoing girl from Yonkers N.Y. I’m also the founder of Cocktail hour. Cocktail hour is an online web show where I sit down with different guest and discuss a range of topics from mental health to fashion tips. My mission behind the show is to have a safe place for people to come talk about the brightest & darkest moments of their lives to get the conversation started on things that aren’t really discussed in our everyday life’s but, still very real. Stories are shared that will bring pain, laughter and happiness but, most importantly healing. All while having a good time with good drinks!

I was followed by She Is on Instagram and quickly began interacting with the page

 3.) What was the 1st event you attended? Describe the atmosphere/vibe?

The first I event attended was the She is/ NYC Latina bloggers event and I went in with such a nervous mindset thinking everyone was going to be stuck up. I was completely wrong. It was the most genuine and loving environment. I made friends & connections that I know will last me a lifetime.

 4.) How has She Is Inc made an impact on you personally and professionally?

She is Inc has opened doors for me in more ways than one. Giving me a platform to use & expanded my voice. Also, helping me connect with women who inspire me to always be my higher self & remember that we are all on this journey called life together. Without She is Inc the idea of Cocktail hour web show would have never happened!

 5.) Why do you continue to support She is Inc’s organization? 

She is Inc was the first place to give me a “home” a community of women that support & uplift each other. Before them I was a small little blogger with no voice. Now I’m still that small little blogger but, my voice & light shine bright. I can move forward knowing that I have a community of support behind me. For that I will forever be grateful and will always be here for the organization.

1.) Tell us about yourself and your platform/business?

My name is Doris Galarza, I am the founder and CEO of For The Culture NY LLC. For The Culture NY started in 2019 after noticing that many of my Latinx students didn’t know much about their own culture. I wanted to change that. I want to help break the stereotype that Latinxs need to be sexy, while that can be true, Latinxs are so much more than that. Latinx people are intelligent, ambitious, creative, determined and much more. I chose For The Culture NY because I feel that it represents the culture of Latinx people living in NYC. I design and make Latinx inspired apparel. I also create custom apparel for customers. In the future, I hope to create a scholarship fund for Latinx students to pursue higher education. 

2.) How did you hear of She Is Inc?

I met Celina back in August 2019 at a Pop-Up shop where I was a vendor. 

 3.) What was the 1st event you attended? Describe the atmosphere/vibe.

The first She Is Inc Event that I attended was the Launch party in December of 2019. I was completely blown away by the amount of girl power in one room. I didn’t know anyone at the event but left there with so many new connections. The room was filled with positivity, great vibes and people who uplift each other. I was taken back by Celina, She Is such a strong woman and I knew that She will be going places. 

4.) How has She Is Inc made an impact on you personally and or professionally? 

 I love the connections that I’ve made from events.

5.) Why do you continue to support She Is Inc's Organization?

I love what She Is Inc stands for. I love being able to support other women and children.

1.) Tell us about yourself and your platform/business?

Hi, I'm Maria Porco! I was born and raised in the Bronx and have worked in broadcast media operations in NYC for the past five years.  In my free time, I enjoy eating healthy, casual brunches with friends and meeting new people. 

2.) How did you hear of She Is Inc?

I heard of ‘She Is’ through a friend who spoke very highly of the organization.  After attending an event, I was so happy to network with other talented female professionals. 

 3.) What was the 1st event you attended? Describe the atmosphere/vibe.

My first ‘She Is’ event was a cocktail meetup at Savor Por Favor in Manhattan. The vibe was fun, energetic, full of positivity and great for conversing with new people. 

4.) How has She Is Inc made an impact on you personally and or professionally? 

 She Is’ allowed me to network more and exchange interests and ideas with other professionals. The great friendships I’ve made with some of the girls was a bonus! 

5.) Why do you continue to support She Is Inc's Organization?

 I continue to support ‘She Is’ because it promotes all things girl power, fashion which I love, and professional aspirations to shatter the glass ceiling. It is an overall positive, influential organization I would recommend to other women like myself.
