See Your Strength

 

Amber Murray is the founder of See Your Strength™, a company focused on delivering messages of hope and love to improve the mental health of everyone at home, work, and school. Her mirror decals offer encouragement in a place of privacy and solitude: the bathroom mirror.This company was born from Amber's personal struggle with suicidal thoughts, anxiety, and depression. She began writing on her mirror as a powerful tool to help her see her worth and learn to love herself. It became immediately clear to her the inherent power in seeing a boost of encouragement next to her own image. Now Amber delivers powerful public speaking messages to all ages where she shares her story of overcoming being suicidal and inspires those in attendance to see their strength. Prior to founding See Your Strength, Amber was successful in a variety of fields including education and the non-profit sector.

Having just started in October, See Your Strength mirror decals can now be found in over 50 schools nationwide. They are also in over a dozen private businesses like local malls, Chick-fil-A, and the world-renowned Red Mountain Spa, to name a few.

 

Through a partnership with the Crisis Text Line, See Your Strength is able to place a suicide prevention resource in school bathroom mirrors. 100% of all proceeds from these decals and 20% of all positive message decals are used to donate decal packages to schools who have recently lost a student to suicide. To date, See Your Strength has made 11 school donations, valued at $1,760.

 

See Your Strength is a mission that is on fire and spreading quickly. The feedback and results are coming in: schools LOVE these decals. Del Beatty, Dean of Students at Dixie State University in Utah states, "I have personally had students tell me that these decals are making a difference in their lives."

 

We are raising $5,000 to exhibit at the American School Counselor Association annual conference held in July and further business development so that we can help See Your Strength get in front of more students and help prevent more suicides.
