Project Description
- Our purpose is to make people happy with an old school shop that takes you back to the days of being a kid but with the adult twist. From comic books to action figures, glass to silicon pieces, Gemstones to colorado made art; we are the oddities shop of happiness.

Sunny Days! - Our shop has had more downs than ups lately and we have done our best to keep our heads up. From being broken into 3 different times, to a wire fraud that emptied our account, and people taking advantage of our kindness - we have reached the end of the road, financially. We’ve built an idea we’ve been proud to share with locals and tourists alike for 4 years and greatly enjoy maintaining our small family business; taking care of it while it takes care of us. In an effort to continue providing the “Happy Shack Experience” to visitors to Red Rocks Amphitheatre and downtown Morrison, we are asking for the kindness of others so we may recover from our unfortunate situation and not only return the shop into the true Happy Shack it should be, but also implement new ideas and source new products to improve the experience. Seeing as we’re a small business in a chaotic “high risk” segment of retail, we have been charged ridiculous credit card processing fees monthly and haven’t been able to get help from banks or other lending institutions. We have tried every avenue we know of and thus far have only come up empty-handed and even more behind.
- Around here, we always say “Happy Shack’s Got Your Back!”, meaning we stand behind our customers. If something is purchased that doesn’t work the way it should, we always do our best to make sure they get their money’s worth. People have expressed how much they appreciate that small difference, and we enjoy that it’s part of what we do. Let’s hope for some karma, here! ;)

Winter wonder land. - The money raised would be to help us get current on long overdue debts and past due bills that have compounded with late fees and rebuild the inventory to fill our small shop back up. With what's left, we intend to invest in bringing a few of our unique ideas to light that we’ve been planning to debut in Morrison in time for 2020’s summer season.
My husband and I love this little building in our small mountain town. We just need a little help from others to make it through. With your kindness we can recover and breath life back into the Happy Shack experience!
