Saving Dog Lives One Photo at a Time!

Daily Dog Dose uses motivational messages and the love of dog owners to help struggling dog owners get the funds they need for their dogs to receive care. We will decrease the amount of dogs that families have to either give away or put down due to lack of financial resources.

 The total number of households in the United States alone that owns one or more dogs is 48,255,413. We will have the potential to eventually appeal to all 471 million dog owners around the world. By donating a portion of each app sale, and 100% of all donations to families, shelters and charities in need we will be able to use that as leverage to encourage people to purchase our app and to donate on a regular basis. 

Statistics show that each year an estimated 500,000 dogs are euthanized in animal shelters due to financial reasons. Daily Dog Dose is a motivational app created to decrease that number.  The motivational aspect of this app is what will drive people to download our app and keep it long term. Each day the app sends a push notification of an image of a dog anywhere in the world, with a short summary about them and a motivational message. The goal of this app is to give dog lovers something to look forward to each day, while also providing them with a platform to donate directly to our cause when they can. We will be able to alert all users when a dog is in need as a push notification and use that to encourage users to donate or purchase merchandise to help out. 

 I am seeking funding to help bring my idea to life. I will use the funding to begin production of the app, hire team members who can contribute valuable ideas, purchase inventory, and begin marketing. Currently I am running this operation alone, but it is my goal to hire team members in the near future.
