Project Description
- My mission is to bring coffee and ice cream to a rural small community. I will also be bringing a new style of environment to the community with a party room. The town does not have any ice cream or party room so this will be a new business brought to town. There are other coffee shops in town but unfortunately they do not have normal business hours and high pricing. I will be able to provide better pricing and will have consistent normal business hours.
- My projected business sales is about 60 customers a day. I could have the potential to have more or less day to day. The ice cream side will be a self serve and pay by the ounce. This is a more delicious and fun way to get ice cream. It is also a simple way to keep staffing low on the business side. The coffee side will have a wide but simple variety of drinks to choose from. I have strategically planned the menu to have the ability to not need a lot of different items as some of the drinks will use the same type of products to create the drinks.
- I am seeking funding to help purchase some of the larger coffee equipment needed to start the coffee side. Some of the equipment includes an espresso machine, coffee grinders, ice making machine, soda fountain refrigerator and freezer. As I get the funds I will buy these items in order to provide the coffees.
