What is Redemption? The dictionary definition of redemption is the action of being saved from sin, error, or evil. The last few years I have been on the road to redemption. As cliché as that sounds, there is simply no other way to describe it. So what does redemption look like for me? Well for some time, I have been on a quest to grow and strengthen my relationship with God. It has taken a lot of prayer, strength, and commitment to get to where I am today. It has not been easy by all means, but I can truly say that I am the healthiest, happiest, and the most healed that I have been in the last 10 years. I have evolved from being a person consumed of manipulation, toxicity, depression, and anxiety. Don’t get me wrong there are days that I still struggle with those things, but God has granted me wisdom to manage them a lot better. I have found peace. I have found joy. I have found happiness within my life. It took a lot of sacrifice, but it was well worth it. While on my journey I have created a lifestyle brand known as RDMPTN (redemption). The meaning of RDMPTN to me is A Brand Built On Second Chances. We strive to bring people back to God who may have veered off their path. We also look to publicly celebrate God for all that God has brought us through. Our goal is to give back on a large scale to the community. For instance we would like to host back to school drives, feeding the homeless, community cookouts for togetherness, etc.
