Qatchcode is a platform where users can browse a handful of curated clothing products for work and events from their favorite retailers on one page. You tell us your style, we eliminate products from your favorite sites that don't align, and you shop products you'll love.
The problem
We got 99 problems, and too many clothing options is one.
Here's the thing: online shopping is inconvenient, time-consuming & impersonal. Something that should be fun & expressive has turned into a burdensome task, and here's why:
1. There are thousands of online clothing sites to shop at
2. Some of these sites offer more than 50,000 products to browse
3. There's no personalized solution that allows you to browse items from multiple sites in one place
We did our research, and we know there's a problem with the current state of online shopping.
- Millennials spend an average of 312 hours per year shopping online
- 91% of consumers shop at 2 or more clothing sites regularly
- 73% of consumers do not feel they are currently receiving a personalized shopping experience
- 82% of consumers often find the amount of products offered on online clothing site overwhelming

Qatchcode offers a personalized shopping experience, allowing users to shop recommended products across multiple clothing sites in one place. That's right - no more opening 20 tabs to compare products from your 3 favorite sites. Qatchcode compiles your favorite items from your favorite places in one browsing page.
Imagine opening your phone and having items hand-picked for you from your favorite stores ready to browse - all in one screen? That's what we're here for - fashion at your finger tips.
How it works
1. Users who subscribe to the app answer 20 questions about their personal style preferences - this includes things like price points they're comfortable with, preferred fit of certain items, patterns they find tasteful, etc. This becomes the user's unique style profile.
2. Our algorithms set out to disqualify as many products that objectively do not fit a user's profile. The remaining products are ranked based on a hierarchy structure of more subjective product attributes, to provide consumers with the most accurate product recommendations possible.
3. The result is a curated list of 200 products that reflect the user's style.

Meet the founders
Qatchcode was founded by sisters Nicole Philips & Raquel Phillips. Nicole and Raquel left their conventional corporate jobs in law and accounting to disrupt the fashion world with Qatchcode.
As lovers of fashion & shopping alike, they have experienced the frustration and disappointment with the current state of online shopping, and the lack of a personalized solution.
They noticed a trend that was applicable in almost every aspect of life where a consumer faces many options... except online shopping.
- Searching for flights? Use a platform like Expedia.
- Ordering take out? Use a platform like Seamless.
- Choosing a movie? Use a platform like Netflix.
Consumers have become reliant on streamlined services like the ones mentioned above. But everyone is still shopping the old-fashioned way. Qatchcode is the future of fashion, online.

What is Qatchcode?
Qatchcode is a web and mobile app that acts as a smart search engine for its users. Upon sign up, you answer some questions about your style preferences and favorite brands and stores to shop. Then, we put our super savvy technology to work to eliminate as many products that don't match your style, leaving you with a handful of amazing items you love, from your favorites stores. All in one place.
How do you pronounce Qatchcode?
(n.) catch-code. Pretty catchy, huh?
Who is behind Qatchcode?
Two sisters, Nicole Phillips and Raquel Phillips. Nicole is an attorney with an LL.M. in Fashion Law and Raquel has a Master in Accounting from Babson College.
Why does Qatchcode cost money?
Qatchcode costs $5/month after your first free month in order to receive personalized product recommendations. This fee helps us to continuously learn what every user loves and dislikes, and allows us to create a unique algorithm for each Qatchcode user, meaning the recommendations you'll receive will be highly accurate. Compare this fee with curated subscription boxes, who charge a "styling fee" that hovers around $20/month.
What does Qatchcode have that subscription boxes don't?
Lots of options, for one! The purchasing and shopping power remains with the user, so you still get the excitement of shopping, but it's much more focused and intentional. There is no stranger selecting 5 or 6 products for you, once a month; you buy what you want, when you want, as many times a month as you want. We give users the benefit of having a curated selection of items in one location, without the hassle of returning unwanted items and having only 5 products to "shop" from.
What is your mission?
We really want to save our users time and provide them with a more convenient and efficient shopping experience. You shouldn't have to hire a personal stylist to look good & save time shopping for clothes you love. We think you should spend your time enjoying life, not shopping for it!
What are you going to use the money for?
The $50,000 that Qatchcode is raising today will be used to fund the first iteration of our app in the form of a Minimum Viable Product. We will be able to build a fully functional app that users, like yourself, can sign up and start reaping the benefits of Qatchcode, for free! Building this first version of the app before we fully launch it to the public is an important step in gaining user feedback, user flow, and accuracy of our complex tagging sets. We hope you will help us!
What if you get extra money?
This is what I like to call a "good problem to have." If we raise more than the $50,000 we are seeking, the remaining funds will be used to grow our team and bring on a head of technology to facilitate the large infrastructure of data we are collecting and help us build an awesome product faster!
Can I donate as "Anonymous?"
If you want to keep your name private from us and everyone else, we respect that! You can checkout as a "guest" and we will not receive your name or details. Since we won't be able to personally email our thanks, thank you for donating!!

There are so many ways you can support us! When do you plan to launch?
We are launching our web and mobile app in the Spring of 2020. In the meantime, we will be testing out versions of our app to our Beta testers who get a sneak peak of the action before anyone else. Follow us on social media for updates on our launch and Beta testing.

The Founders
Prior to launching Qatchcode, Nicole was a complex civil litigation attorney at both small and large firms, handling claims ranging from trademark infringement to wrongful death cases to breach of contract claims. After a few years of litigation, Nicole received an LL.M. in Fashion Law from Fordham School of Law and her practice focused on intellectual property, licensing agreements, and marketing and advertising laws for fashion and retailer clients.
Raquel attended Babson College for undergrad and her Masters in Accounting. She went on the work in PricewaterhouseCoopers' audit department before leaving for Qatchcode. Having attended the #1 Entrepreneurial school in the country, Raquel has studied how to set up and run a company, including launching one during her time at Babson for one of her classes.
