Project Description

My goal is to open my bakery after working from home over 4 years, since this is my only source of income. I need to advance and be able to give back to the community God willing.
I have had constant challenge in delivering my baked goods due to clients picking up from my home. Some of them never feel comfortable, while some are. To be able to constantly serve my clients, it's best I get a location, where clients can pickup with ease, and also sit for consulting, when trying to order for my specialty cakes. It takes approximately 20 mins to get an order complete, based on the specifications and designs they require.
Due to the current situation of the pandemic, I experienced a high demand for my baked goods because most people now celebrate indoors, or zoom party. A cake is always required. My sales margin increased by 55% in 2020/2021 more than 2019. To be able to keep this margin and increase it, I will need a location.
I specialize in custom baked goods, creating to personalize. Every order is uniquely created for each client. This has given me an hedge in the crowded competitive market.
I need help in completing my project of getting a location. I have been able to save up a good amount, however, setting up a bakery takes more than what I currently have. In order to pass the requirements of the township inspection, all equipment must meet standards and I intend to get the commercial equipment needed for the kitchen. Once this is running, my goal is to train 5 women who is interested in being a baker for free.
