Big City Gamers will be set up as an LLC. It is a gaming lounge offering guests a comfortable, safe, and affordable environment where guests of various age groups can play the most popular and the latest in gaming for a fee of $5 per half hour of $9 per hour. Big City Gamers is a 2200 square feet facility that will be located at 3000 North Market in Shreveport, LA. Kids in North Shreveport do not have many entertainment options outside of the home that are safe. Big City gamers will fix that. Big City Gamers invests itself in something it loves to bring people together doing something they love. We are more than just pressing buttons. 

Big City Gamers plans to have gross sales of $312,174 by the end of year one, up 30%; $405,826 by the end of year two, up 60%; $649,322 by the end of year three, up 70%; 1.103,847 by year four and up 90%; 2,097,309 by year five. We will achieve this by: 

• Boosting the menu items in the snack area by the end of year one.  

• Offering the purchase of merchandise such as mugs, t-shirts, backpacks etc. and have gaming tournaments hosted by some of the top video game creators such as Fortnite and Apex in year two.  

• Add on a party room that can be booked by patrons in year 3. The addition of the party room will ensure, our sales remain stable throughout year four. This will allow us to open another facility in the neighboring city of Bossier by year five securing stable revenue well into retirement age.               

   

  Big City Gamers caters to all gamers, regardless of your age or the console you play. Also, according to the ESA, Fifty-three percent of the most frequent video game players report playing video games with others. 

  Big City Gamers will supply gaming entertainment to everyone of all ages and genders. But our target market are the gamers who want to indulge in all the latest technology, but family income does not allow them to partake. Having little access to Wi-Fi or a Wi-Fi speed that is too poor to allow adequate downloading. This also limits their ability to game with others. Since suppliers like Microsoft and Sony charge a monthly fee to access online game play, we will take care of all that so these guests can game online and play a large variety of online games by simply logging into their profile on our consoles. By the end of our second year, we will implement a gaming card for those patrons in a certain income bracket. This card will allow them a certain amount of gaming hours during certain hours of the week by appointment only. We will not take gaming from our regular gaming customers. As our business grows, our customers may evolve or change but we will always ensure that our target market still fits our business. Big City Gamers start-up cost of 12,000 will include all equipment needed for the gaming lounge and snack area. The video game equipment will be the largest part of the startup expenses. These long-term assets will include 6 gaming consoles and monitors and four gaming computers with monitors. The snack bar will include standup refrigerators and freezer, ice machine, grill etc. Other startup expenses will include rent during renovation and construction costs.

   

  Big City Gamers will structure as an LLC. It will be owned and run by Martissia Thompson.  Martissia has experience as a gamer in the community. Her experience gives her the upper hand in knowing what gamers want and what drives them to dedicate hours of their day doing what they love.
