Project Description
Hello, friends.Thank you so much for visiting! I am so very excited to start this adventure together! This campaign is to raise funds for my future van-The Electric Mayhem II. My dream is to create a sustainable life as a nomadic artist. Having a “home base” in my van means that I will be able to realize my dream as a self-sustaining nomadic artist, with a focus on creating community, supporting environmental, queer, social and animal rights. How? Well, by being “on the road” I will have the opportunity to volunteer at and/or visit animal sanctuaries, eco-communities, artist enclaves, residencies and so much more! Basically, like-minded communities.My hope, along the way, is to share art via both selling it AND through bartering/skill exchange. I want to explore what it means to be an artist in the most exciting and essential waysway-how we connect with each other, our natural world and what we make with our hands!

Who ARE you???
I am an artist who makes earrings and sculptures out of found/recycled stuff. I also draw-a lot and paint-a bit. I am queer and in my 40’s. I have done many things on this journey including social worker-ing, coffee slinging and art modeling.
Why Nomadic living???
I want to spend some time discovering alternative ways of being in the world-as an artist, human and member of multiple communities. I want to find some non-traditional ways to become sustainable as an artist and create community. I want to give back today and not wait until tomorrow.
How About the Art???
I am so happy to be doing this campaign as an art sale. It feels really good to me to be focused on directly connecting through my work. All contributions of $50-100 will be sent an original drawing. These are original works, pen on paper, usually 11” x 14”.
Contributions of $100 or more will receive an original painting or medium sized sculpture or 2 drawings.
