Raising funds for handwashing stations for low-resource schools: A direct response to requests for donations and access to running water.
Project Description
The repercussions of the pandemic on schools has further revealed educational & health inequities among communities.
In most cases, the search for mitigation measures is a burden placed on individual school districts, and many of these solutions are expensive and time consuming to adopt.
With each district facing their unique set of needs and challenges, many administrators are drained from scrambling for tools for COVID mitigation and prevention. To ease the magnitude of challenges faced by high-need schools districts, we can provide a simple solution that has a deep impact.
We receive weekly inquiries for donations or low cost hand-washing stations for access to water where there is none. Our touch-less hand washing stations bring running water anywhere with an outlet. Because no plumbing is required, our portable stations can be placed in classrooms, gymnasiums, lobby’s, libraries, and beyond.
Our first goal is to distribute these to 10 schools and childcare centers in need.
We believe that by helping to provide access to hand-washing, we can make a small impact in a very hard time to help schools and childcare facilities reopen.

- How will you decide which schools will receive donations?
- We currently have a list of schools that have already reached out for assistance. We will be determining eligibility based on: federal or state funding received in 2020, school opening status, wealth score of current student population and/or community served for childcare centers.
- Will I be notified about which school has been served by my donation?
- Yes! We will notify you in our thank you letter and will list your name on the donated hand-washing station when it ships.
- When will you be shipping out the donated hand-washing stations?
- Our goal is to ship donated stations in February 2021, depending on support.
- Can I request a specific school for my donation?
