Mujer Poderosa Summit is the event to showcase, promote and build the Latina Creative and Entrepreneur community on the east coast.
Project Description
The Latina creative and entrepreneur community is an entity that is vastly and rapidly growing, specifically in areas that were once considered rural. Small towns through out the states of Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. Towns that have seen an influx of Latinos arrive after circumstances in their home land led them to search for alternatives and although these communities are much larger in size than they were 10, even 5 years ago, the resources to promote entrepreneurship growth are very limited.
Our mission with the Mujer Poderosa Summit is to promote and provide a venue where they can showcase their work, network with other women just like them, learn essential tools tailored just for the Latina entrepreneur and more importantly expand their circles so that they may have the opportunity to see both personal and financial growth.
Mujer Poderosa Summit, taking place in Wilmington, NC, is the FIRST step to what we hope grows in size and frequency so that we may continue to empower our Latina women. We will be providing an exhibition showcasing works by emerging Latina artists, offer workshops that focus on the business aspects of their entrepreneurship and host networking events in this weekend long retreat.
We are looking for investors that cherish the value that our Latina women bring to our communities and wish to make an impact in these women’s lives.
Women that are in search of their tribe.

• Where is the event?
MP Summit will take place at the Blockade Runner on Wrightsville beach, in Wilmington NC.
• When is the event?
The event will take place June 12 through 14th, 2020
• Who are the organizers?
The MP Summit organizers consist of a group of artists and entrepreneurs through out NC and GA, to include Tania S López from Art y Són, Jeanette Egan from J. Egan’s Designs, Stephanie Saddler Georgia Make Uo Artist, Evaliz Sanz Georgia photographer and Natalia and Husban Alfredo, organizer of Boricuas en NC.
• What does the Summit consist of?
The MP Summit consists of a one night art exhibition showcasing 15 Latina Artists, a vendor expo with 25-30 vendors, workshops focusing on branding, marketing, financial and more, networking activity on Saturday evening plus a self care yoga session on Sunday morning.
