Project Description
My proposal is to make mental health wellness accessible to everyone virtually and in person. I have prior experience as a CCP Counselor, Social worker, Director, and Case Manager for a mental health establishment. Thus, inspiring the idea of making mental health services assessable to everyone who is timid of going to a clinic to receive services. I am running a non-profit for a drug free communities. Which has provided me the necessary guidance to run my own business. Since joining the business, in a three month span, I was able to network to grow our face coalition with individuals that range from state officials and well known public figures with no prior experience. I have excellent communication skills due to my previous experience with customer service and as a case manager. Including that since as an adolescent age I had to basically be the psychiatrist for my siblings who both suffer from mental health conditions. This is not just an endeavor that I am pursuing just to make a fortune out of. I am pursuing this as it hits to home as the ones I loved dearly struggled with these complications and didn’t get the proper they needed and it wasn’t our mother’s fault either as when we grew up we had a humble beginning. Hence, I want to create an affordable option for those who can afford regular mental health services from other agencies. They could be recommended to us as majority also get denied due to not having insurances, and not being from the U.S. This could an opportunity for the individuals who are for one terrified of getting services due to being labeled or judged for seeking necessary help.The name would be Cee Jolene as Cee would be like seeing and jolene is french for beauty which would together mean see beauty but not just in others but within themselves. I want this to be something that motivates others to being their best selves and inspires them to go after their aspirations as I am currently doing. Supporting my business would allow me to get the equipment, employee, which would be an LPC professional, needed to make this a successful business. My mother, who I lost a year ago, was my biggest motivator and inspiration in life. Despite of her upbringing, she always made sure everyone around her lives would be better and thats the same motto I carry with me today and would want to continue if given the opportunity.
