The Makeup Store by Arin Blake

Hello im Ashley Williams also known as Arin Blake. I am a 22 Year Old Entrepreneur & Makeup/Brow Artist.

I have now worked in the industry for almost 5 years! Growing up in a salon all my life with my mother I never thought I would ever see myself in the beauty industry. In 2015 I learned that I loved makeup. So I decided to start and wear makeup on myself. As my skills grew people would ask me who did my makeup and I would tell them myself, whenever they asked could I do theirs I would always decline. So one day it just hit me that God had placed a gift in my hands, in the very same industry I never thought I would ever be in. March 26 , 2016 I woke up and decided that I would go and create me a spot inside my moms salon to start my new career. I never stopped or looked back since then! I have now blessed over 500 People, created smiles , friendships , gave woman back hope , and always give the best and professional services and products.

For 22 years old I have my dreams and goals set! I want to be an example to woman and especially younger woman that its okay to be a Modest Goal Driven Woman. I want to show them you can create and have the life God shows you can have through the visions he gives us. Since a little girl I have imagined owning my own Store not knowing it would be a Cosmetics Store! I am so excited to open The Makeup Store By Arin Blake. I am so ready to open my doors and help woman all across the world with many beauty problems they face today rather its skin care, brows, or makeup. I also want to use my platform to give back to hard working woman because I got to experience my mom stay strong through some of the toughest times of our lives. Closing shops , staying in hotels , and losing everything she still made away for us to survive and pick back up. I want to help others feel good that's been in those situations because I know how it feel to lose self-love. I have seen so many woman who has never had anything or never even had their makeup done in their life, I just want to give them chance to feel beautified as well. 

Problem:There is a need for a makeup store where you can go inside and get your makeup/brows done, take a class and buy beauty products all in one. Where ALL WOMEN can feel welcome and gain their glow back. A Store that is dedicated to consistently providing high customer satisfaction by rendering excellent service, quality products , professional customer service skills , and an enjoyable atmosphere at an acceptable price or value.

Solution: We plan to supply services and products that enhance our clients physical appearance and mental relaxation. At The Makeup Store by Arin Blake we will make sure every woman will leave feeling more confident and love from herself!

Why Us: The Makeup Store by Arin Blake is going to be the place every girl wants to go inside. We will sell a wide range of beauty services, classes , & products. Every woman will feel so beautiful inside. The decor wil be so pretty & pink. What will set The Makeup Store from the competition is our commitment to providing all of these things in one convenient location.

Marketing: We will be targeting females who are beauty fanatics and have disposable income. Women who like to look and feel good, women that are headed in the right direction ,& women who work hard. We will display to woman we can all become something! We will mostly service women, but we will make sure to include the younger girls and men who fit the criteria.

Competition: There may be a lot of salons, but there are no salons with a cosmetic store exactly like ours. Most of them have very high prices, poor customer service skills, or only take appointments with those they want. We will not compete with anyone. We will start a new lane for a young black business owner, by accepting everyone, offering affordable prices , and Cosmetics for ALL!

Expectations: We are inside a very busy plaza with a lot of traffic and room to pull in a lot of potential business. We will be located right next to big brand stores as well! We will be the only Store with those services and products !

Team: We will have 5 Professionally Trained and Educated Makeup & Brow Artist. Each staff member will get a opportunity to learn new skills & expand their brands while working with Arin Blake.

Why do I need funding: I want to create somewhere that is professional, up to part , and organized. I want to create a Store that most people from where I am from can only dream of opening. I want to change the way people look at black business owners. In order to accomplish these things I will need funding. It is just me so I will need help.

What will funding be used for:  All funding will go to supplies , inventory , savings , marketing and promotions.  I want to prepare ad insure myself for anything that can occur.
