Our mission is to bring our manufacturing back to the US, open a factory that not only manufactures our brands but manufactures for large companies, the US government, contract and subcontract manufacturing, private label, and total package manufacturing for other brands private and public. Our mission is to create jobs and bring the textile industry back to a small community that was disproportionately affected by the mass outsourcing of the textile industry. Not only will we be able to bring manufacturing back to the US, we can also help revitalize and strengthen a small community while giving workers stability and hope.
The problem we are solving is the outsourcing of apparel and textile manufacturing. The apparel and textile industry has been devastated by the mass outsourcing that has happened over the years. We are helping bring back made in America and helping other brands find efficient, cost-effective manufacturing within the United States. Our goal is to create more jobs and expand to a second factory in five years.
The US textile and apparel industry is a nearly $70 billion sector when measured by the value of industry shipments. It remains one of the most significant sectors of the manufacturing industry and ranks among the top markets in the world by export value which was $23 billion in 2018
My company is a factory that manufactures apparel and textiles. We offer end to end production and manufacturing for large companies, the government, for private and public brands as well as boutiques and small independent labels. We are providing jobs in an industry that has predominately been outsourced and we are trying to bring it back to the US. We are also providing small-batch manufacturing for boutiques and small independent brands to help them be more successful and have larger margins without carrying larger inventory amounts.
We are seeking funding to help get the factory operational and help cover expenses while we are getting set up and ramping up to full capacity. We are purchasing a building for a very good price that needs some TLC and work. We need to cover payroll and all the costs of the new equipment including machinery for production, computers, phones system and everything else that we need to get up and running until we can become fully functional which we estimate to be about 2-3 months on the aggressive side and 3-4 months on the conservative side.
My name is Deanna and I am the founder and CEO of Hodges International and H2 Home Collection. I have over 30 years of experience in the apparel and textile industry including manufacturing, design, private label, etc. I also have an MBA and a MIB (Masters in international business). I have been a business owner for the majority of my life and I can’t wait to bring textile and apparel manufacturing back to a small town and help reinvigorate an industry while creating jobs and possibly creating a movement of the return of Made in the USA.
I sincerely thank you so much for your support and for helping us bring back Made in America and putting good people back to work. Thank you.
