What is the mission of your company or project?

 Life Itself is a company that  promotes awareness and education of mental health and illness in the minority  community  by providing  all natural self-care and wellness services, products, and resources for men, women, and children. 

Describe the problem you are solving.

 Many individuals in minority  communities suffer from mental health issues. Most of the time these issues get ignored or  get worse with time. Finding high quality and affordable mental health care is  sparse. Even finding   safe  non-judgmental spaces for people to come to are non-existent. There is no trust and there is no real support for people who suffer from mental ailments, especially when it comes to taking care of themselves and/or their families.  Also, it is really hard to find high quality, safe and truly all natural hygiene products in store. Many  are overpriced and have harmful chemical trails and preservatives in them. 

What is the market size/opportunity?

 Many people have inquired about the services we provide  and  when we were going to start our group sessions. The opportunity is huge as there are no other programs like this in our city, and we have been seeing a lot of growth  and following.

What is your company/product about, and how does it solve the problem?

Life Itself LLC  is a company  that is all about  mental health awareness, education, and support. We are developing  a program called Project SELF. It will be a  4 part  series  of peer to peer group sessions  to promote mental health awareness, self-love, self-care and self- evolvement. We want to help people become their true selves and  be able to love, care, and evolve  through life in a safe environment. We are doing our first Mental Health Mixer in August to talk  about mental health and emotional healing within our community.

Why are you seeking funding, and how will you spend the funding?

 We are seeking funding, so we can have a consistent  place for our program. We want to be able to have our  group sessions without worry and provide convenience to our clients. I also want to expand and try to provide holistic self-care  services, resources, and products for our clients and customers. I create all natural, handmade  candles, soaps, body butters and oils. Not only that, but  I have created an all natural skin care  line for babies and toddlers called  Pure Babie. I  also have created a skincare line for  pregnancy and postpartum care called Pure Mommie. I would love to provide these services to our clients because to have good mental health you have to take care of your physical needs too!
