Project Description
Introducing Mocksy, a premium mock-up and stock photography platform, delivering real and relevant imagery to successfully grow and market creative businesses. As a tenured photographer and designer, co-founders Marika and Natalie created Mocksy to lead with strong creative direction, a candid, yet curated approach, and the *moxie* to fill neglected gaps in the visual landscape. Being in this industry for as long as Marika and Natalie have, we have seen a lot of the same old same old, and are ready to bring new vibes to the internet with badass content that doesn't suck.
We will be launching monthly collections of real photo mockups and stock photography, starting with the Active Collection for January 2022. In addition to each new collection, we will be dropping limited edition stock and mockups. This content makes our business unique, while also making our customers stand out. With monthly drops and only 50 downloads allowed per image, when the photo is gone, it’s gone. We are really excited about this aspect of the brand, as we believe it is a step to solving the over-usage and unoriginal content problem in the market today.
The global stock photography market was valued at US$3.3 Billion in 2020 and is expected to reach US$ 4.8 Billion by 2028 at a CAGR of 5.2% between 2021 and 2028.
Currently, Marika and Natalie have been self-funding the business. We accept for the business to full support itself within the next 12-18 months, and as we get there, we are looking for funding to be able to direct and produce our photoshoots at the highest level, so that all involved parties are paid a fair, living wage, and so that our content can really stand out. This funding will take some of the pressure off of us founders to pay to play on ads, build brand awareness, and properly market the business as well.
