Project Description
Sugadoo Cosmetics was created by 11 yr old Nefertiti Miller, and is a Creulty-free, vegan, environmentally friendly brand started with Tweens in mind. Nefertiti launched her collection of lipgloss on her 12th birthday, after spending close to a year doing research on the beauty industry by attending makeup conventions and expos, speaking to Ceo's of other cosmetics brands, and finding what works best by selling her lipgloss at school.
Sugadoo Cosmetics has sold out at conventions, malls, pop-ups, and has a placement in the biggest luxury mall in Houston. Nefertiti is now looking to expand her brand to become a full cosmetic line with quality cosmetics for tweens, but good enough for adults to wear as well.

Well, 80% of tweens wear some form of cosmetics or beauty products. There are 20 Million Tweens that live in the United States, and they spend 28.4 Billion dollars a year of their own money. Alot of their purchase are in the beauty industry. Beauty awareness starts at a young age, and Sugadoo Cosmetics knows this first hand. Nefertiti being a tween herself experienced the exclusion in the beauty industry at major beauty retail stores,and decided she wanted to fill that void. Not only does Sugadoo cosmetics want to supply cosmetics for tweens, but tweens want quality. Tweens want to go into major beauty retailers and see a cosmetics line that is for them, not their little sister's play makeup or not their mother's line. They want a seat at the table. Sugadoo Cosmetics is the premier beauty brand to supply their needs. Who better to knows what a tween wants, than a TWEEN.
Why Environmental Friendly?
Nefertiti Miller, with Sugadoo Cosmetics is passionate and dedicated to doing her part in helping save, and clean up the environment, and partnered with Sea Turtle Inc. to help save the sea turtles out of south padre island with every purchase of a lipgloss. So, it is highly important that her beauty products are cruelty-free, and vegan.
Scaling in 2020
We are gearing up to relaunch SUGADOO COSMETICS online as the premier e-commerce destination for TWEENS, with a subscription model that will deliver cruelty-free, vegan cosmetics just when you need them.
Most of the funds from this campaign will go toward bringing SUGADOO COSMETICS to a wider audience. Our team is also privately raising investment from angel investors and small firms to grow what we're building at a faster scale.
