We are a brand specializing in swimwear that is designed to flatter ALL body types, not just plus or standard size.
Project Description
- Jacque Designs mission is to provide each and every women who wears our pieces with comfort and confidence.
- The swimwear industry is divided into plus size and standard size, we are eliminating that division by creating pieces that truly exude confidence from women of every type of body and shape. This problem is solved in the design step of creation and knowing where to cover and flatter in a nearly universal way. We have tested the product and sold direct to consumer, and have had nothing but good response telling us that we are solving the problem.
- The swimwear sector of the industry is valued at $20 billion.
- I design each piece in our collection (company) based on body image challenges I see in today's media and have experienced first hand, each swimwear piece is adjustable and forgiving to both curves or more lean body types.
- I hosted our first runway show in Miami Swim Week in July of 2019 and the expansion that that opportunity alone has projected for 2020 requires more working capital during this off season. We are ready to expand marketing and manufacturing with this funding.
- My team is made up of myself, Jacque Day and a freelance marketing specialist, Melody Saradpong-won, who I met on GirlBoss originally.

Each swimsuit has been designed by myself, Jacque Day, in numerous locations of Northern California. I am 24 years old and my work is inspired by cultures, surreal art, and a variety of landscapes. My collection is made of fashionable items meant for every individual and their different styles, and body shapes. There are many reasons I felt compelled to begin my design career in swimwear; body insecurities and a powerful connection to the ocean being the most prominent two. I was raised on a sailboat as a young child, most of my education being home-schooled, this meant that my creativity was challenged... And that I needed quite a bit of swimwear. Shopping for swimsuits as a young girl was a dreaded occasion for myself, and I’m sure many others. I want to change that experience for as many women as I can. With this being said, my hope is that when each Jacque Designs piece is worn, the owner is comfortable, confident and self-assured. With many years of experience in the fashion industry under my belt, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Fashion Merchandising and Design, I am proud and incredibly grateful to share my creations with you.

What is your size range? We currently carry sizes Small - Extra Large, each size is very forgiving but we would also like to broaden our size range with more funding.
Where are your products manufactured? We manufacture in Asia, where I have visited the factories in person to continue customer satisfaction.
