Women are going backward!! The World Economic Forum predicts 257 years will pass before women reach equality--longer than before.
Gender Fair® can SPEED that up by shifting consumer spending to companies that actually support women --and compel others companies to step up.
Gender Fair developed the first consumer rating system for gender equality, with measurements inspired by The UN’s Women’s Empowerment Principles.
In the tradition of data journalism, similar to Consumer Reports or US News College Rankings, we publish the results, yet only 10% of public companies meet this basic standard.
The Human Rights Campaign’s similar index, improved LGTQ policies in 1700 companies. WE CAN DO THE SAME for gender equality--just by changing some buying choices.
Now we’re about to take this to the people and need your help. We can SCALE equality by inspiring people to buy from companies that support women & diversity. We’ve built two new consumer tools to help people buy Gender Fair--we need to get them into as many people’s hands as possible or get masses of people buying Gender Fair TO CREATE THE CHANGE.

Gender Fair has a talented team that is passionately committed to our mission. Together we have made big progress over the past years:
- We forced a tech company to publish its parental leave FOR THE FIRST TIME--and caused others to add philanthropy for women/girls.
- Melinda Gates wrote about us in Harvard Business Review-and her own sites.
- New shopping site, The WMarketplace uses Gender Fair to assess non-woman-owned companies for its platform.
- Other organizations use our data, such as Sitejabber and new fintech tool ecountabl.
- Gender Fair is now coming to Europe, with a team based in Paris bringing it to life.
- Along with University California Berkeley, we are evaluating four UCal campuses using a Gender Fair lens.
- A major US bank is consulting with us about putting the Gender Fair lens on its suppliers.
- Communications Giant Edelman will be helping us through our fall launch.
- We have built partnerships with many organizations which will expand our reach and impact.
- We have a machine-learning enabled tool that has created a database of all 5000 US public companies, not all processed.
We’ve built a respected brand in just a few years by publishing our transparent ratings of companies.
Gender Fair certifies companies--like the Good Housekeeping Seal so people can tell easily which companies support women. Our clients: Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, Eli Lilly, Microsoft, Edelman, Save the Children and Mastercard etc.
