Impacting the dreams of small town entertainers

I'm building a new startup, derived from my business, Melanin Effect, where we showcase entertainment influencers from all over the world. Our motto is “Whether you have 1 subscriber or 1000’s of subscribers, you are still apartment of our community family!” We are now in the process of developing a networking app to provide our entertainment influencers with a safe haven to network and grow. We want them to collaborate with local aspiring and professional entertainment influencers. Along with this, we will be launching our clothing line for our community to wear apparel/gear that best represents the brand. I am from a super small town here in NC and I never had the luxury of being able to collaborate with someone near me or share ideas because I had no clue who was around me that liked the same type of work. I realized while in college that there are so many people just like me! We literally learned everything about our passions by ourselves! I decided that in my senior year I’d develop Melanin Effect so that both big and small influencers could know who’s in their area and who to work with in their specific niche. Linkmatch (our app) strives to make finding new bawsties/YouTube friends easy for anyone interested in the world of entertainment influencing! With specific categories such as podcasts, YouTube, blogs and many more! We are making it effortless to grow your following by simply matching and collaborating with the kid next door (the one you had no idea even liked the same thing as you). We are currently hoping to raise $15,000 through crowdfunding which will sustain Linkmatch’s app development for 3-4 months as our team is comprised of 2 software engineers!
