My name is Bridget and I am here to share some good news: I wrote my first book!
It’s a travel writing book about the time I lived out of a backpack for two years, titled I Have Everything I Need. I’m excited to share my stories with you, and I hope you can support me on this new chapter of my life.
I Have Everything I Need details an attempted thru-hike of the Pacific Crest Trail, riding a flea market bike from Vienna to Budapest, and more. This is not an inspirational book! This is unenlightened dirtbag travel writing, not for the faint of heart... which is why it probably won’t be a good idea for you to buy this as grandma’s Christmas present!
This book is for: People into obscure, rough traveling instead of just inspirational stories. People who might not be able to travel, or haven't thought to travel cheap. People who buy zines, hiker trash, people who don't understand hiker trash, and for readers who might not want to do what we did, but might want to read about it.
Not only is I Have Everything I Need now officially available for pre-orders, there are also options to purchase one as a donation to a free library or a prisoner.
