House Of Dreams - A True Story
On her last night, Suzie cried in my arms as she was to depart the lodge the next day. You see, as an 80-year-old, she could not afford to come back and it broke my heart that I would probably never see her again. That night, I vowed that I would start an environmentally driven , cost-effective safari lodge. I have worked on this goal for the last 7 years and am finally gaining the courage to put it into action. I thought Khaya kulorah (meaning house of dreams) would be the perfect name for our lodge as I have never forgotten my encounter with dear Suzie. After spending thousands on consultation fees with accountants, I now have a solid business plan in place.
Funds will be utilized in the following ways:
* Registration of our company
*Aquisition of a Safari Lodge in the heart of the Kruger National Park
* Capital to see the operating costs of the lodge through for the next year
