Project Description
Our Homeownership Residency Program will provide a safe affordable place for working Women to call home. Each resident will be given resources that are designed to propel them into becoming a homeowner. The overall mission is to "Restore Dignity & Integrity To Women In Transition." Our goal is to open 5 new homes in Atlanta Georgia. The properties will accommodate 20 Women that are homeless due to various life changing circumstances such as divorce, job loss, relocation, illness or domestic violence. The properties are fully furnished, each resident will have her own room and we intentionally decorate the homes to be a peaceful environment.

These women don't fit the stereotype or description of what society says a homeless person should look like. Unfortunately, there is an epidemic of women that are suffering in silence due to embarrassment and lack of support. You'd be surprised to know that your co-worker, waitress, business partner or even close friend is sleeping in her car, on someones couch or renting a hotel room. Nevertheless, they have found the strength to continue working, building a business or simply pulling themselves together to face another day of uncertainty. It's amazing to see how these Women are going through the fire but don't smell like smoke.
Our Homeownership Residency Program is a Passion Project that's very near and dear to my heart. At the tender age of 20 years old I found myself living in a homeless shelter with my two young children. I had to make a dramatic decision to leave everything I owned in order to survive a domestic violence relationship. While living in the shelter I went to work everyday and fought my way through hell and high water to take back control of my life. I was blessed to purchase my 1st home three years later. My personal experience gives me the confidence to believe that all Women have the power to ReFocus, ReGroup and ReGain control of their lives too. Each one of our residents must be committed to overcoming her obstacles and completing the steps that will ultimately lead to an enlightened level of self worth and stability.
We're asking 500 People to contribute $100.00 to our campaign. We have higher PLEDGE LEVELS as well please see the information below for details. Your participation will allow us to open more homes across the metro Atlanta area. We're striving to bring 20 women home for the holidays. We get calls from women on a daily basis that are in need of housing and we don't have any vacancies. Thank you for your time and consideration.

- Is this a Non-Profit? No, we're a socially conscious company that is committed to participating in Passion Projects that have a philanthropic purpose. Our Homeownership Residency Program is a concept that will impact the lives of everyone that is connected to our mission.
- How will I receive credit for my contribution? You're sowing a seed into the lives of women that deserve a safe affordable place to call home. Every dollar that you give will continue to produce a harvest. Being able to assist someone that is living in her car, sleeping on a friends couch or renting an expensive hotel room is a priceless reward.
- Do the Women have careers? Yes, each resident is required to have stable employment. Our goal is to become a stepping stone during their transition.
- Can the resident really go from being homeless to homeownership? Yes, I personally took this journey over 15 years ago. Unfortunately, I didn't have a mentor that could walk me through the process. After that experience I vowed to become an advocate for women that were striving to obtain a better life.
- Do I have to Pledge $100 or more? No, we'll except Pledges of any amount with the highest level of respect and gratitude.
