Our Story:

Breakouts to Breakthrough Skincare:

Hi! I’m Maggie Glover, previous sufferer of bad skin, and founder and CEO of Hellcat Maggie’s Skincare.

A few years ago, I created our first batch of products without any idea I was also building the foundation of the FIRST whole-plant CBD skincare branch in the US made specifically for problematic complexions using organic, non-comedogenic ingredients.

(Or, as I like to say: "Made for the breakout-prone, by the breakout-prone.)

In the months before I made Batch #1, I'd been obsessing over my skin thanks to a terrible, never-ending breakout that hadn't been responding to any of my go-to remedies. Though I was used to monthly hormonal pimples on my chin, this new breakout covered my cheeks, forehead, and nose. Suddenly, I had the face of a pubescent tween - except I was 32, and so I had the beginnings of fine lines and wrinkles, too.

My dermatologist and aesthetician helped me to identify exactly what was triggering my complexion problems and what would heal, soothe, and build back up my suffering skin.

I knew all about whole-plant CBD's incredible anti-inflammatory properties for acne, so it seemed like the perfect ingredient to add to my treatment regimen to boost results and reduce free radical and environmental damage.

Co-Founders Maggie Glover Mike Vanderhei created this CBD skincare line in compliance with federal (per the 2018 Farm Bill) and state legislation. Hellcat Maggie’s is 9-free - so no formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, formaldehyde resin, camphor, xylene, ethyl tosylamide, parabens, or acetone. We work with small farms to secure high CBD hemp plants that are grown organically without any pesticides or synthetic substances, and all sourced hemp plants are tested and confirmed to contain less than 0.3% THC (You can view our most recent compliance test results on our site).
