Project Description
Mission:
The mission of Addie BB, LLC via "Heart Work" is to create lasting solutions that help individuals, families, and communities effectively and efficiently overcome internal and external conflict. We believe that mental and emotional wellness in women and men that are overcoming abuse and addiction will heal their families and revitalize their communities.
There are too many broken hearts, homes, and families and communities. In my years of mentoring youth, I've found that you must heal the parents to have a lasting impact on the children and the community. We are creating a space for individuals and community members to learn, fellowship, and heal together by confronting and conquering generations of emotional and mental trauma caused by a history of abuse, addiction, and trauma. Many people want to live healthy productive lives and just don't have the skills to do it. hat they can live healthy productive lives despite history of opposition.
Who we serve:
We serve women and families of the greater Tri county areas of Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester South Carolina since 2014. Women make up 51% of the 411,409 population in Charleston County.
We offer Life Coaching, recovery groups, workshops, retreats, seminars, books, and workbooks all focused on personal and professional development to educate and train individuals on how to think and live life in a way that honors their existence, their environment, and activates their purpose. This approach is used to target women, men, and youth/children for a holistic impact on the family and its surrounding community.
I am seeking funding to create content and material needed to conduct the personal and professional development training rent/lease/purchase space that allows us to facilitate our personal and professional development workshops, meetings, seminars, and retreats focused on healing women,men and community members.

- How long have you been working with women and men in this capacity? My entire life I have been helping others but I started officially coaching men and women in 2014.
- What are your credentials? I believe that experience is the best teacher. I have overcome depression, domestic violence, estrangement from parents, drug abuse, and teen pregnancy, to name a few obstacles. I know how hard it is to break free from generational dysfunction and I want to help others do the same.
