The mission of my company is one that I’ve had since the beginning: Improving the health of natural hair and skin for women and men. I started off with one product: mixed shea butter. I used it on myself before I sold it to anyone else and I started to notice my hair texture change. and I started questioning myself like well... is my hair really 4C? My hair was growing like a wildfire, and I was noticing that I could go a whole week without moisturizing my hair again because it was just that good. With other products, I’d have to put something else on it within the next couple of days. 

Those big brand names that I was using on my hair didn’t even bring out HALF of the potential of what my hair was capable of. The time I made the discovery was around the time that a certain unmentionable hair gel targeted towards black women *coughs* had that scandal about having cancer causing ingredients in their formula. At that moment, I made up in my mind that I want to use nothing but natural ingredients in my hair. These big companies don’t have our best interest at heart; all they are focused on is the money. So whatever they can do to stretch and push out product, they will do. But I refused to be that bitter 65-year-old woman with bald spots in my head shaking my fist in the air saying, “That doggone gel took my hair out!” I had the resources to create my own product, so I did. And I want to share it with every other girl and boy with hair like mine! But I’ve also branched out into skin care, carrying body butters, mixed oils, lip balm, and treatments for loc’d hair. With this funding and God’s grace, I am hoping to expand even more with all natural soap bars, body scrubs, and shampoo.
