The Atlanta Influencer market is home to a new generation of Founders and Serial Entrepreneurs. They come from many different backgrounds and diverse ethnicities but they all share a commonality– the need to create compelling content aka take some great pics for their Instagram pages. 

The Glow Factory is a Made-for-Instagram Art Installation space for local content creators, bloggers and influencers through monthly membership options. A unique one of a kind space for work and play, that fills a gap addressed by no other business in Atlanta, one of the top 10 Rising Cities For Startups.

The Glow Factory will welcome a diverse and inclusive community of content creators, bloggers and influencers who support each other in a safe and judgment free space to utilize the facilities' designed sets & backdrops for their content creation needs.

We believe in the economic advancement and empowerment of women, People of Color, underrepresented and under privileged minorities. The Glow Factory welcomes all likeminded backers to invest with us so that together we can create the blogger and influencer world we want to exist.

THE SPACE

The Glow Factory is the headquarters for @HappyGirlGlowOfficial operations, for our members, and open to the local content creator community to gather and create in. It's women owned and operated.

Amenities include:

• New themed set designs & backdrops bi-monthly.
• Member's Market with our member's products on display for purchase.
• Open layout floorplan filled with chic & feminine furniture paired with natural lighting.
• Modern & updated kitchen with coffee & wine bar plus snack carts.
• Opportunity for members to rent space.

This is:

• A fully equipped venue space with designed sets for all your Instagram photos (new sets with different themes will be designed bi-monthly: Unicorn, Rainbows, Chic Black & White, Sunflower Garden, Chocolate Galore, so many themes we'll bring to life with your contribution). 
• A private space for blogger meet-ups hosted by @HappyGirlGlowOfficial + it's available for private rental by our members to host their own events for their respective community.
• A safe space where all race and ethnicities will be welcomed. No longer will the blogger community be segregated in 2019 or ever again!!!

WHY DO WE NEED THIS?

Believe it or not in 2019 the blogger and influencer community is segregated. Yes – you can go to a blogger event hosted by a non-inclusive blogger community and find all of the attendees are the same skin color, sex, and around the same age! That's a problem in our eyes and hopefully in yours too. There should be no reason in 2019 that segregation of any community is allowed, tolerated or accepted.

We decided to create the blogger and influencer world we want to exist with HappyGirlGlow.com and our diverse members need a space they can gather and connect with one another multiple times out of the month, a place they can come together to collaborate and take each other's pictures for their blogs in a fun judgement free space.

On our mission to create a physical headquarters where guest will be able to attend weekly blogger meet-ups, fun events, and enjoy picture perfect designed sets & backdrops for their content creation needs – so many lives will change for the better once WE reach this goal!

WHY CROWD FUNDING?

Our founder, Shae, has been self-funding Happy Girl Glow for the past year and a half. While the community was initially entirely online, we’ve worked to put together offline experiences and events, giving our members the opportunity to meet IRL. The only way Happy Girl Glow can continue to provide these experiences, maintain the growth and add more resources is to grow into a physical headquarters with a team. For that, we need your help.

We looked into many different paths to funding The Glow Factory including traditional funding from VCs, investors, and banks. But at the end of the day we want to create jobs for diverse teams of women, People of Color, underrepresented and under privileged minorities and we're not going away from that goal, ever. We've learned in the past that some investors value high growth and scalability over diversity and commitment to our goal. We believe the power of The Glow Factory lies within the community so we decided to turn to so  iFundWomen, a female only crowdfunding platform, to get the job done. Funds secured through our crowdfunding campaign will be used to build out our physical space, the most critical component of The Glow Factory to ensure we create the blogger and influencer community we want to exist.
