Innovative Phone Application Software: Listing for Disability Services (Guide & Resource Locator)

Problem Identified: Currently there are no phone application software available for use by the public to assist in locating disability service resources, presenting families and individuals with disabilities with a unique set of challenges in trying to locate services within their local area...it is almost like hunting for lost treasure! In addition, not all businesses are equipped to service children with disabilities, which includes child care.

Solution: Neural Divergence, LLC has created a solution to this issue by creating a listing exclusively of businesses that service families with disabilities available through iOS or Android platforms, making it downloadable, providing instant access to users. Neural Divergence is actively seeking funding to work with a selected phone application software (phone app) developer to create a disability service resource guide for families and professionals to utilize across the United States. This phone app is desperately needed and will help so many families and individuals with disabilities in locating needed services within their local or surrounding area.

GPS/GIS Data Use: Based on specific programming and algorithms, individuals will be directed to disability resources and services within their local area. This is to enhance families and professionals being able to locate and access resources to assist them.

Disability Service Categories: Services will be broken down by category to include (not limited to): Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Respite Care, Childcare Providers (that service children with disabilities), hospitals, clinics, specialty care, etc.

Rate the Service: In addition, services will be rated by parents; end users will be able to read reviews of services completed by other parents and professionals, with 5 stars being the highest rating of services and 1 being the lowest rating.

End Users & Service Organizations: This app will be free to the end user and we will charge organizations to have their organization listed in the phone app; a lower priced will be charged to organizations based on their size during the initial year, with an increase of listing price the subsequent year.
