Felicidad Hair Sugar “You’ve Got Scrub to Grow!

Our mission is to balance the universe one natural head at a time.

• The mission of this project is to raise funds to place and sell more products in our local Shoprite Supermarkets; thus creating internships, freelancer positions, hair and health programs, scholarships for workshops and allowing us to connect with more families looking to live a healthier life through our natural products.
•  The problems we are solving are moisturizing dry, breaking hair; helping slow growth and no growth customers and clients to grow hair and scalps that are loaded with dead skins cells that can, will and do block hair growth. We are waking our customers and clients up with creating awareness through scalp exfoliating and aromatherapy.
•  The market size opportunity is close to earnings of $324,000 per store yearly.
• We provide women and their families education, training, employment, and empowerment on their freedom to choose a lifestyle that is chemical free. We were birthed with naturals in mind. No matter what the ethnic background is, our products provide families with total body wellness, beginning with hair and scalp. We are looking to expand our product line, already available at a local ShopRite, to enable us to create more in studio and at home trainings for natural professionals; as well as workshops for caregivers to teach them how to care for their families’ hair and body. Our services and products solve the issue of underrepresented women, as well as their families, not being able to style their own hair nor wash their scalps. We also train natural professionals, and women, with the knowledge of each product’s application and performance in exfoliating, cleansing, and moisturizing.
• We are seeking funding to avoid unnecessary loans giving us the freedom to share this venture with more people. The funds will be used to buy ingredients, packaging, and supply 2-3 Shoprite Supermarkets with at least 3 monthly batches of 3-4 products. It will also give us the opportunity to advertise for the services & trainings we offer; as well as and hire women to demonstrate and educate in the locations where we sell the products.
• Our team consists of 8 natural hair stylists; AhavaFelicidad, JustSayHairByKaren, MzCurlyGurly, DeeDee Does Dos, BodyArtByDev, ValCanBraid, BraidedByLou, HairVentionZ, Marissa Sanders-Young of Marissa's Kitchen, Amor Young-Visual Marketing, and Dhores Brutus business management  intern. All of the women on our team and allianced with us have or are working towards associates, bachelors and masters degrees combined with 19 or more years of hands on experience in  Hairbraiding, Haircare and Hairstyling, Business Management and teaching in elementary and secondary education.
