Project Description

The journey with (in)fertility is an intimate one. It's personal. It's full of feels. Sometimes the fertility journey can seem so sterile, so clinical, and so disconnected. I get it and I'm here to bring the human emotion back into the clinical process.  Fertility care is my passion and being able to work together through (in)fertility struggles allows me to  help individuals make sense of the things we can make sense of, and talk through the things we can't. I’m excited to come alongside families in the fertility process in a new way, with a higher level of attention, care, education and emotional support to families navigating infertility. I believe all individuals should have access to reproductive healthcare and (in)fertility care regardless of any social or economical constraints. I am seeking funding to be able to offer more access to these care services our community needs. Funding would allow me to expand the clinic space, obtain additional clinical tools and add more services to reach more clients.

I thank everyone who is able to contribute to support my dream of making other's dreams come true!

The Campaign FAQs

Hi Rhianne here! (Pronounced “Ray-Ann”) I’m from Anchorage Alaska and I’m a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

Prior to pursuing my Master’s Degree in Nursing, I worked closely alongside a Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility (REI) specialist, Dr. Ursula Balthazar, here in Anchorage, and with this work, my passion for infertility care grew.

I’m excited to come alongside families in the fertility process in a new way, with a higher level of attention, care, education and emotional support to families navigating infertility.

I was born and raised in Anchorage. I earned both my Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alaska Anchorage, in addition to pursing post graduate studies at
Georgetown University. My background extends from surgical nursing to women’s healthcare and obstetrics.

I persuaded further education in advanced reproductive technology, ultrasonography, and training with Reproductive Endocrinologists and Infertility specialists at Pacific NW Fertility in Seattle Washington as well as Seattle Reproductive Medicine. I am trained in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility and am an active member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine.
