Enrich Our Kids!

Electivity complements the school day by offering a curated catalogue of enrichment programs that promote curiosity and the joy of life-long learning. Its one-stop service include curriculum building, instructor engagement and screening, marketing, enrolling and billing.

Since its launch in January 2015, Electivity has expanded rapidly throughout the Bay Area, and has thus far touched the lives of more than 10,000 children. In addition to providing affordable programs, the value-driven company awards scholarships to students in Title One Schools and underserved communities, even during the pandemic when families needed these funds the most. Electivity believes that learning does not have to end when the school day ends. The vision is to see Electivity’s enrichment programs serve as an extension of a regular school day and reinforce learnings.

During the pandemic, Electivity worked hard to pivot physical classes to provide an online experience, ensuring that children continue to receive high-quality and fun enrichment programs and stay engaged with their peers and teachers, while adding new knowledge and content. When Santa photo experiences were cancelled due to the Shelter-in-place measures enacted, Electivity stepped in quickly by providing a digital platform. To make this opportunity available to everyone, Electivity offered some free sessions to families in the community.

Though the funding, we target to further expand our infrastructure and automate processes to free up resources to seek out quality providers and programs, and scale our reach and continue to offer scholarships and free events.
