Three years ago...
In 2020, we opened eleMINT in vibrant East Austin, Texas amidst a global pandemic, civil unrest, and social uprising - with YOUR support! Our initial crowdfunding campaign carried us through start up costs, site renovations, inventory & equipment, hiring, and marketing. An exciting inception, that has grown through resilience and hope, because of YOU!
Lately, we're ebbing and flowing through ongoing pandemic effects, economic shifts, operational challenges and overall fragility of being a Black woman owned business in East Ausin. And while many things remain uncertain as we push to sustain our studio, we're honored to still be here as a sanctuary for self-care and community despite it all. While eleMINT is no easy feat alone, we know that your support will help us continue transforming lives through skincare.
eleMINT is a physical wellness space and social community for skincare. Our mission is to elevate skin health and wellbeing through a holistic, transformative skincare experience that is inclusive, accessible and affordable.
Beauty has shifted to encompass a unique focus on wellness. And it’s about time! Historically, the primary destination for quality skincare has been luxurious spas. The problem is, spas are outdated, pretentious, expensive, impersonal and lack diversity.
We know that:
- The modern consumer craves a more personalized skincare experience, focused on preventive techniques, wellbeing and education.
- A holistic approach with a sensible price point that redefines skincare as a lifestyle, rather than a luxury.
- Safe, nontoxic beauty options that nourish skin without compromising health.

WE STILL NEED YOU
We will use the funds backed by this campaign to secure our new location (CHECK!), renovate the space (CHECK!) hire staff (PARTIAL CHECK!), improve our branding/marketing (STILL NEEDED), expand our retail product options (STILL NEEDED), and continuously replenish cleaning and sanitation supplies (ONGOING NEED).
OUR FOUNDER
eleMINT was founded by Shauntavia Ward, a Nurse Practitioner, who after 8 years in medicine, craved a deeper connection with inspiring women to feel good about themselves, in their most natural state. #inyourelemint

Transaction Issues?
Some credit card companies may initially recognize this transaction as fraud. Please contact your card provider to verify the transaction and let them know you're supporting our campaign, and they can too if they'd like :)
When do you plan to open the new location?
We are currently scouting new east ATX locations and hope to complete construction and open our doors to you on Friday April 3, 2020. Keep a close eye on your inbox and follow our Instagram for updates.
When will I receive my reward?
Orders will be fulfilled as stated in the shipping details section of each reward. Please note, all sweatshirt orders will be processed and shipped within 7-10 business days following campaign close date. Or, if sweatshirts sell out, then they will be processed and shipped once all sweatshirts have been purchased.
Is there anything on the back of the sweatshirt or selfcare kit?
No, these were left blank intentionally.
Can you provide more details about the membership?
- This membership option reflects one RADIANT (55min) facial per month. Facials can not be rolled over to the next month.
- A total of 3 of your facials can be gifted to friends/family if you are not able to make it in.
- It is a one year membership, paid upfront, in full. Valid for one year, from opening of our new studio (anticipated April 2020).
- Product discounts will be 5-10% on all skincare products anytime you shop in the store with us. Effective immediately upon opening in April 2020.
- This membership is specially discounted for backers of this campaign, at the equivalent of $75 monthly. After the campaign, it will be offered at $110 monthly
- Membership is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Enjoy your first facial in our new space for the $85 level of support. Our RADIANT facial, valued at $135 is our most popular service and we're excited to get you glowing (for the low) as soon as we open.

We're moving into a membership model and for the $899 level of support you'll lock in the lowest rate to glow for a whole year! Prepaid, in full, to include our signature RADIANT facial (55min), unlimited discounts on skincare products, complementary high frequency treatments, priority access to in store events and more.
Snag this reward at the equivalent of $75 per month (will ultimately be $110 monthly).
