Eco Friendly and Affordable Housing

My business will provide more affordable housing options in Buffalo, NY.  Upon moving to this city I found that the cost of rent is far too expensive and inhumane.  My passion for community and the environment will combine to produce eco friendly, affordable housing. 

Apartment buildings, and subsequently tenants, suffer from high utility bills. Harnessing solar power and utilizing eco friendly appliances will make the cost of utilities and rent more affordable. My business will save money on utilities and pass those savings onto renters. 

The market is non existent. I have viewed apartments that utilize solar energy, but do not pass those savings onto their tenants. 

My business will help families and individuals who fall just above the income restrictions of government run, affordable housing. 

I am looking for funding to begin purchasing and converting properties in order to offer them to renters. I will spend the funding on eco friendly appliances and of course solar panels.
