District Speech and Swallow Rehab

The mission of our company is to provide high quality mobile outpatient and teletherapy motor speech, language, and swallowing therapy services to people in the Washington DC, Maryland area. For many patients, transportation is a big barrier to receiving health services.  
Additionally, as we started our operations, parents who speak Japanese but live in the US started to reach out in search of Japanese speaking Speech Pathologists. Unfortunately minorities and bilingual Speech Pathologists are still under-represented in the field- so we decided to step up and fill one of the gaps.

With the funds generated from this campaign we will:

1. Launch an online coaching course to provide practical and evidenced based strategies to help Japanese speaking families navigate raising bilingual children 

2. Access business coaching to continue growing the company to service more patients in need 

3. Purchase more equipment so patients can have access to more modalities for swallowing and language therapy.
