Creating The Hip-Hop Oracle
The Hip-Hop Oracle is the 1st of it's kind - an oracle deck inspired by the pillars of Hip-Hop & the culture, while aiding in soul growth.
Project Description
The Hip-Hop Oracle is an oracle deck to allow folks to connect with the spirituality behind Hip-Hop, one of the most popular genres of music in the world. Specifically, this deck is crafted with the muse of 90s-to-early-2000s Hip-Hop (with a lil bit of modern flava).
There are very view spaces in the spiritual community that blend Hip-Hop and spirituality. There are less than 10 card decks focused on music, and none that involve a Hip-Hop oracle deck. This deck is paving a path for folks who deeply connect to this era of music, this community, and art space and either rooted in their spiritual practice or in the process of developing theirs through divination.
The Cypher Botánica is solving the area of a lack of representation and furthering spaces for Black and Brown healing and spirituality. This is a piece of sacred space.
We have been grateful to receive funding for half of the project by SoulCenter (soulc.org) to fund the graphic designer and printing for the deck, however we are still in need of:
- Boxes for the deck
- Marketing
- Website and product launch fees
- Personnel/creative team funding
