With 20+ years of sales and online marketing experience in many industries Sam can see some massive gaps in the services offered by the current leading apps of the cosmetology industry.

This experience along with leading teams has trained him to spot both the customers and the businesses needs.

Carrie and Sam understand what it takes to build, and run a team of independent contractors.  The support, tools, education, and reporting that it takes to be successful in business is much more than just a booking app and this is where CosmetoloGenie will crush the competition!

CosmetoloGenie is a mobile App for Iphone and Android as well as a Desktop Web Portal.  

This is a full service SAAS for the cosmetology industry.

The mobile app will be designed as one app for both users and service providers at first.  We will then create separate apps for both groups.

There will be a desktop web portal for service providers to log into and track numbers, inventory, and CRM.

The True All In One App

Cosmetology is an everyday, and every person uses it type of  service.  It’s a repeat service model. However there are major gaps in current software platforms, as well as educational platforms, and community driven platforms dedicated to the industry.  In response to this climate of the industry we are developing a mobile app and desktop web portal to both service the service providers in the industry, and their end clients.

People want to feel a part of a community, and trust the people in it.  That is why with all of the review apps out there, people still ask for recommendations on Facebook community pages. They see a friend's post or they see someone recommend a place and then find out that they are mutual friends with someone.  They also want to learn how to recreate the latest style at home.  That is why Pinterest and Instagram are so popular in this industry.  We want to bring that to the table, and allow service professionals to profit from their knowledge.

CosmetoloGenie will change the way niche marketing and niche communities collaborate going forward.  It is the small town feel on a global scale for the industry. Due to the close relationships between clients and service providers, and the nature of the industry being made up of so many independent providers the community and education is a major part of the business dynamic.

Not so long ago, Carrie was in search for hair and make-up for a special event, in looking for an all in one app where she could find who she needed at the time she needed them, she found none, so she decided to partner with her husband and create one that not only helped the people like her but also helped the businesses find their next client.

The Next Step

Right now, we need your help raising the funds to begin our first round of development. The funds raised by this campaign will be used to code, develop, and acquire server space. Any additional funds will be used for marketing purposes.
