Cloé’s Corner
Cloé’s Corner provides a vast network of support and valuable resources for entrepreneurs, creative professionals, and startups especially women and minorities to expand and scale their business. Our mission is to bridge the wealth gap by taking old pain problems and addressing them with new tools.
WHO WE ARE
Cloé's Corner is a workspace for business and financial literacy solutions, content creation, and networking/social events in the Boerum Hill neighborhood of downtown Brooklyn, N.Y. Our goal is to support entrepreneurs with tools to scale and expand with a focus on women and minority communities. We do so by curating and commencing programs, workshops and services that support improvement in their business while increasing opportunities to connect with like-minded professionals and their target audience.
WHAT WE DO
There are three pillars of Cloé’s Corner:
Pillar One: CONTENT CREATION MEMBERSHIP
Investing in the creation of content is very beneficial to entrepreneurs. It helps to expand and scale their business because the digital space has increased opportunities to connect with an audience globally. There are several ways to do this. At Cloe's Corner, our creation studio provides everything you need to produce multimedia content for any marketing campaign or project. We are here to help you tell your story and evoke your audience with stunning imagery, captivating sound, and persuasive storytelling. In addition to our membership, we offer a variety of a la carte creative services to help launch your podcast or Youtube channel, brand your business, and make sure you have branded photographs and videos of yourself.
Pillar Two: BUSINESS TO BIGNESS PROGRAM
We have created an eight-week incubator and accelerator program to help entrepreneurs establish their idea and launch their businesses with a strong foundation by moving seamlessly through their journey. Students enrolled in the program will meet weekly at Cloe's Corner to learn everything from creating a niche to funding their business while simultaneously taking the actionable steps needed under our guidance. At the end of the program, students will successfully launch their businesses with essential steps to continue to brand and fund them.
Pillar Three: EVENTS
We are an event space that hosts a variety of workshops, seminars, and conferences with leading professionals in the industry to provide hands-on learning and education in business, branding, financial education, creative software and equipment, and more. Our events are meant to balance out working hard by playing just as equally. We offer fun events such as paint n' sips, networking, and game nights. At Cloé's Corner, we believe in the balanced entrepreneur. We want our members to feel empowered and capable every time they walk into our space because they are equipped with excellent knowledge, resources, and people in their corner!
WHO WE DO IT FOR:
We focus our services on entrepreneurs, start-ups, creative professionals, and small businesses especially women and minorities hungry for networking opportunities, business and financial resources, and creative support. Women make up 41.5% of entrepreneurs while Black or African Americans make up only 6.0% of entrepreneurs in the United States. We focus on these mentioned communities in order to bridge the wealth gap and support them in creating generational wealth while taking care of their mental health.
CLOÉ’S CORNER
Cloé’s Corner is a bright, open-floor workspace. We have a beautiful brick-and-mortar, Brooklyn-style interior that has a minimalist concept with a touch of flare. Our private phone booths are available for phone calls, zoom meetings, webinar recordings, podcasts, and more. Our Content Creation Studio includes professional lighting, camera equipment, podcasting equipment, and backdrops. We are a robust space offering all that is needed to succeed.
FOUNDER, CLOÉ LUV
Cloé Luv is a Brooklyn-based business woman who runs a portfolio of companies aimed at helping others improve their lives. Often referred to as the Renaissance woman, Cloé Luv got her start as the youngest African American woman to own and operate a reputable music production company, Brook Brovaz. Since the successful launch of Brook Brovaz, Cloé Luv has expanded her portfolio of companies to include New Life Consultants, a consulting firm specializing in serving early-age entrepreneurs, Women with Voices, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that serves as a platform to support women in need, and now Cloé's Corner, a coworking and mentorship space in Brooklyn, NY. It was clear Cloé’s community needed more spaces to learn, grow, and connect. She opened Cloé’s Corner to create a place that mirrors her ambition, her desire to teach her community all she has learned, and her hope for a collaborative space for like-minded professionals.
WHAT WE ARE SEEKING FUNDING FOR
At Cloe’s Corner, we believe in providing the community we support with valuable resources, a collaborative network of support, and professional consultation. Cloé’s Corners’ goal is to help our Content Creation members scale by equipping them with tools needed to create high-quality works that engage their audience and increase brand awareness. We also aim to educate, mentor, and accelerate the growth of our Bigness cohorts at a subsidized cost. Lastly, we will implement more educational workshops that help our community turn their professional endeavors into success, improve their financial situation, while enjoying fun workshops to bring balance and positive mental health. All funds raised through IfundWomen will be utilized to expand our Content Creation Center, subsidize costs for cohort members enrolled in our Business to Bigness Program, accumulate vital resources for our members, and encourage community growth.
WHY CROWDFUNDING
Cloé’s Corner exists for the benefit of our members’ growth and their satisfaction with our services. As a woman and minority owned/runned business we place our trust in iFundWomen, a crowdfunding service tailored to women entrepreneurs and startups.
