Claranda Tay is a small beauty supply boutique with a focus on exclusively carrying minority small business beauty brands.
Project Description
We are a black woman-owned retailer of Hair Care, Wigs, Extensions, Beauty & other Lifestyle products in Chester County, PA. We like to think of ourselves as an all-inclusive store for those seeking well-made self-care products with natural and/or organic ingredients. Our focus is on carrying other minority natural hair care, beauty, and lifestyle products and bring them to our community as well as beyond.
Its been documented that black women are the biggest spenders within the beauty industry but are the least represented with estimates of billions being spent each year. We hope to grow the representation by carrying those brands that focus on the black woman.
Funding will be used to support daily operations of our brick and mortar store. Expand our inventory offering, and focus on marketing both locally and online to grow our brand with the hopes of opening more locations.
We currently a team of 1 full-time employee whom is the owner and 1 part-time marketing and outreach.
