Boro Bowls: Superfruit on Wheels in Middle TN

Boro Bowls is a brand new food truck coming this Spring to Murfreesboro and the Nashville area! At Boro Bowls, we specialize in the art of the acai fruit bowl and other superfruit creations. The superfruit revolution is here and we are making sure you don't miss out! Once you've reveled in how beautiful each bowl looks, the flavors will have you hooked for life! Plus, they'll keep you living that healthy, nutritious lifestyle. We hope you come find us and try one for yourself!

Campaign Goal

Our main goal is to share a Boro Bowl with as many people as possible! We know that, once you taste one, you will be a fan for life and someone we can look forward to seeing again. Therefore, the funding from this campaign will go towards expanding our initial marketing plan and also allow us to commit to more events this Spring and Summer. We are hitting the streets soon and with the help from our supporters, you will be seeing Boro Bowls all over town! 

Who's running this show?

Hi, my name is Tosha and I am the proud owner of Boro Bowls! You know, as a wife and mother of two boys, life sometimes feels like it goes by in an instant. Before you know it, you've spent 10 years working at a job that pays the bills and throws in a bonus here and there, but doesn't really fill you up with the joy that comes along with doing something you are truly passionate about. I've always wanted to own my own business and do something that, not only brings a new joy to my life, but also brings those same feels to others around me. I'll be honest, starting a business is scary. But after some time to work past those initial fears, the moment has finally arrived. With love and support from some amazing people, Boro Bowls is ready to launch this Spring and we are excited to share it with you!

What's so great about acai and other "superfruits"?

If you're not already familiar with the latest craze about acai and other superfruits, then all the more reason to try it out. Here's a list of a few reasons why our acai bowls are not only great in taste, but great for you! 

• First, you need to know that the acai berry is packed with protein to help build and repair muscle. Plus it's loaded with omega fats to help keep down that cholesterol. Nutrition 101 right here! 

• Ever heard of anthocyanins? Yea, we hadn't either, but discovered this is a plant compound that gives the acai its beautiful deep purple color. Plus it acts as an antioxidant! 

• Speaking of antioxidants, the acai berry is bringing it with one of the highest antioxidant counts in the fruit world. Beating out some favorites like blueberries and cranberries.
