Pregnant women deserve FASHION too
We are looking to fund the expanding and opening of a new location for our maternity resale retail store.
Project Description
- It is our mission to provide pregnant and nursing women with a cost effective, yet satisfyingly stylish way to purchase maternity clothing.

- We address the "belly mark up" which is a gap that exists between over priced maternity clothing in proportion to the short amount of time the clothing will be needed. Typically women are only using maternity clothing for a maximum of 5 months depending on some factors. Yet clothing is twice the price as any other.
- Our retail store aims to offer affordable, yet stylish maternity clothing at a fraction of the price of any retail maternity store. With everything being converted to online shopping, we still provide an opportunity for ladies to try their clothing on in a boutique environment. At a time they need comfort the most, we must ensure they have the perfect fit without having to worry about cheap online clothing that is impossible to fit.

- So many women throw away or donate their maternity clothing they no longer use. We offer the opportunity to RECYCLE and REUSE previously loved maternity fashions for the next woman's enjoyment and comfort.
- Our company has such a potential for growth, and it is our ultimate goal to be a nationwide franchise opportunity, further expanding our reach to women needing more maternity options. This campaign however, is intended to open up a single additional location with the hopes for future expansion.

- We partner with a variety of non-profit organizations locally including donating excess clothing to the "Sparrow's nest maternity home," and "Thrive STL women services," and hold drives and open donations for the Saint Louis crisis nursery. Additionally we hold an annual Maternity Expo which serves the sole purpose of gathering local resources for pregnant women, postpartum and nursing.

- My name is Kira Rogge, Founder of Bean Blossom Maternity Resale. I was prompted to quit my career of 25 years to open this retail store after experiencing the frustration of purchasing maternity clothing when my daughter was pregnant for the first time. The lack of variety and obscenely overpriced clothing was enough to spark an excellent idea.
