As a Fashion designer and experienced Seamstress, it is my duty to help out during this COVID-19 crisis. As a New Yorker, it has hit us very hard and many people are being impacted. With schools being closed and many job layoff people are ANGRY. On top of that there is a shortage in gloves and face mask to add to prevention for this virus when outdoors or even home.
Since New York has closed all non-essential business, I have been forced to work from home. Giving me extra free time to help out since I have a industrial sewing machine, I decided to make custom face mask. They are becoming popular since most face mask are completely sold out. Using all my materials I will eventually run out.
RAW is working with hospitals across the US and are asking designers to make 100 make that will go towards donations. I have volunteered myself since I have sewing skills to help out and make more mask for medical workers.
With the cost of materials and broken down below
Please help donate in order to get more supplies to continue making face mask during this global crisis.
