Project Description
Our mission at Bare Thrills is to support every woman in their active journey by developing the 'Perfect Pair of Workout Underwear'.
We are Emily and Liz and as an active couple, we found that the only part of our workout gear that wasn’t ‘active’ was our underwear. This is why they never sat right during our workouts, weren't seamless enough under tights or really didn't stand the test of time. We asked ourselves, "why do we put so much thought into making sure our bras are supportive and our tights are squat proof, but we don't have underwear designed specifically for our workouts and active lifestyles?"
This is where our active underwear range will fill the gap in our activewear market.
We are currently looking to launch in the next 4 months within Australia. Once we receive revenue from sales &/or funding, we will then be able to launch our active underwear in the US, UK, CAN & NZ, and also stock our products within retail stores. This funding will enable Bare Thrills to launch with more products, launch different cuts of underwear and expand internationally, allowing us to achieve our goal of being more accessible to customers globally.
We are currently a team of two women that are passionate about our health, authenticity, inclusiveness, sustainability and growth. We really look forward to developing a product that women feel confident and empowered when wearing.

The Campaign FAQs
- What is material is the underwear?
We are working with using a recycled nylon (subject to change, depending on material testing) to ensure the material is durable, functional, breathable and seamless for you workouts, while reducing the amount of synthetic fabrics in circulation. For health and hygiene, an organic cotton gusset will be sewn into the underwear.
- What designs will be available?
We are launching with 2 designs to start. The thong (Gym G) and high rise thong (High Rise Gym G). These designs were the most requested by our community of active women. We are also launching in 5 different colours (black, navy blue, maroon, pastel blue and pastel pink).
- When will you launch other designs of underwear
If our first launch is a success, we will then have 2 more designs (full brief and boy-leg) launched within the following 2-3 months.
- Where can I purchase the underwear?
Once we launch, you will be able to purchase the underwear online www.barethrills.com
- When are you going to launch?
We are currently in the sample and testing stage and will be looking at launching by October 2021!
