What does CBD stand for and what is it? CBD stands for cannabidiol. Our products are derived directly from the hemp plant, not the marijuana plant. Unlike marijuana, CBD does not contain psychoactive THC.

Can Après Delight get you high? No. Après Delight is a CBD-only product that is derived from the hemp plant. CBD is non-intoxicating and will not get you high. It works with your body’s endocannabinoid system to help reduce stress, manage pain, and feel your best. Therefore, if used topically or orally, it will not get you high. Our product is a topical oil that you apply externally to the skin; you do not ingest it or smoke it. There is no psychoactive THC in our products. 

Is Après Delight legal? Yes. We only use CBD with less than .3% THC that is derived from the hemp plant, which is legally allowed by the US Farm Bill. This bill removed CBD products with less than .3% of THC from the Schedule I controlled substances list. Our CBD products also comply with all applicable laws, including the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act).  

Will I feel any tingling sensations when using Après Delight? No. That is because there are no detectable amounts of THC in this product (less than .3% as allowed by the US Farm Bill). But based on our extensive testing (we can’t believe we get paid to do this), it increases the intensity and sensitivity during intimate moments. 

What does the CBD in Après Delight do? When used as a lubricant, CBD has been shown to increase circulation and serotonin levels, improve blood flow, and decrease inflammation. Après Delight can also help stimulate your body’s own lubrication, thereby reducing discomfort and tension. 

Can I use a condom with Après Delight? No. Because Après Delight is oil-based, it will break down most condoms. It should not be used with latex condoms.

Where do you source your hemp? 100% of the hemp in our products is grown by Certified Organic Vermont Hemp farmers.

How do you extract CBD from the hemp plant? We work with a USDA-certified organic hemp processor located in Vermont. The process is done in small batches at a precise temperature and pressure settings utilizing a method called subcritical CO2 extraction. The end result is a clean, alcohol-free, full-spectrum oil with strain-specific terpenes.

Do you test the CBD content in your products? Yes. Every batch of our products is independently purity tested so that we know it’s free of toxins and heavy metals and meets our standards of potency and functionality. We encourage you to ask manufacturers of any CBD product you use for a corresponding COA (Certificate of Analysis). We will provide your corresponding COA when we ship your perk.

Is Après Delight full-spectrum or broad-spectrum? Our products are full-spectrum, which is the least processed extraction of hemp cannabinoids in the rawest form, containing a full spectrum of compounds not limited to but including terpenes, flavonoids, chlorophyll, and enzymes (as opposed to isolate which contains only CBD). Research shows that working with the whole plant can be more beneficial than isolating individual constituents. It has a THC content of less than .3% in accordance with the Federal Farm Bill of 2018.

What’s so great about CBD? Researchers believe that CBD can help relieve anxiety, chronic pain, and inflammation. We believe in science, so...

I have medical issues -- will CBD work for me?  When treating a specific medical condition, disease, or ailment you should always consult with your doctor. Please consult with your doctor or health care provider for any questions about the safety of our products for you. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, use prescription medications, take supplements, or have underlying health conditions that cause concern, check with a health care provider to make sure that our products will be safe for your use.

Why do you use the term “humans with vulvas” instead of women? Because there are some people with vulvas who don’t identify as women. Their pleasure and desire are important too.

Is shipping included? Yes, shipping is included to the US and to Canada. If you are outside of the US or Canada, please contact us.  

Why will you only ship Après Delight inside of the United States? Customs and international laws make it very difficult to ship CBD, even if it is legal in your country. You can still support our crowdfunding campaign by choosing a perk that does not include our Après Delight product (like the tee and stickers).

How does payment work? You will be charged immediately for the reward that you choose. We will begin shipping tees and stickers in August, and by October we will have fulfilled all Après Delight orders (although we aim to do that sooner as well).

Do I have to leave a tip? NO.  You can change the setting to Zero or any amount that you choose. Make sure to do this after you have chosen your payment method as we notice that it does reset. We do not receive any of the tip funds; all of those funds go to iFundWomen.

What does the FDA want us to know? These products are not for use by or sale to persons under the age of 21. The statements made regarding these products have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. The efficacy of these products has not been confirmed by FDA-approved research. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. All information presented here is not meant as a substitute for or alternative to information from health care practitioners. Please consult your health care professional about potential interactions or other possible complications before using any product. The Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act require this notice.

Our team has nearly 10 years of experience in making kick-ass, dependable, lovable products. In addition to running multiple successful Kickstarter campaigns, we have brought dozens of products to market and have fulfilled thousands of orders. We have our US manufacturers and suppliers lined up and ready to go. We know what we're doing and you should be confident that we will deliver what we promise when we say we will.

RETURN POLICY

We are happy to offer exchanges for shirts based on sizing; this will be subject to availability. We can offer returns or exchanges for manufacturer defects dealing with the packaging of Après Delight. We cannot accept returns for used products unless there is a manufacturer defect.

CUSTOMS & DUTIES INFORMATION

Our prices DO NOT include VAT, GST, or other country taxes. Depending on where you are based, you may incur additional fees such as taxes and duties. As we are shipping these products worldwide, it is impossible for us to build in these variable costs for each location.

All of our orders will be shipped out of our distribution center in Reno, NV. 

For all of our Canadian friends and family, the new free trade agreement means no duty or GST for the first $150 imported from the US.

SHIPPING POLICY

If our shipping carriers attempt to deliver your package to you and you do not receive it because you are not there, the address was incorrect, or you moved without letting us know, it will be the buyer's responsibility to pay the shipping fee to reship the order once it arrives back at our warehouse. You will receive a tracking number for your package once it ships out, so please keep an eye out!

POTENTIAL SHIPPING DELAYS

The current timeline is to ship all rewards by October 2021. There are always potential delays that may occur due to things like customs, weather, vessel bookings, and holidays. That being said, we have included some breathing room in our production schedule to mitigate any potential issues.

Whatever the obstacle, we'll get through it together. We value our backer community and all the support you've shown us. We take communication and transparency very seriously, and we promise to keep you up-to-date throughout the entire process.
