Project Description
Alamo Kitchens is the space where food entrepreneurs come to cook!
One of the greatest inhibitors of new and growing food businesses is the cost of building and maintaining a commercial kitchen space. Without a commercial kitchen, most food businesses can't get started or grow. Alamo Kitchens was created to reduce this barrier to entry by providing a licensed commercial kitchen for food & beverage entrepreneurs.
Alamo Kitchens was born out of a real and growing need in our community.
Help us raise funds to expand capacity and support more food entrepreneurs.
Your support of this campaign will allow us to
create a kitchen studio
&
develop an online catering platform
These two projects allow clients to expand their customer base and reach. With the kitchen studio, clients will be able to create how-to videos, live stream classes and safely demo for people watching them cook in the kitchen. The catering platform will allow Alamo Kitchens to showcase the talented chefs cooking in the kitchen and be a vehicle for those customers needing to order food for 4 or 400 to have varied food options to chose from and do so while supporting small businesses.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Location. Alamo Kitchens is located in San Antonio, Texas.
Chefs in the kitchen. Alamo Kitchens is the kitchen for a variety of chefs who cook for every palate.
Wine & Dine. When you chose the dinner for two reward, we will ask you a little about your dietary preferences and then delight your palate.
Night in the kitchen. This is a great reward if you have been hoping for a friendly bake off, family cookout or some food focused celebration. We will provide the space and will leave the fun to you. There is an option to add a chef and/or catered meal to your event.
Using the kitchen. We would love to have you come and cook in our space. If you are interested in using the kitchen for a one time event or a long term project, drop us a note: [email protected]
Cooking Classes. Yes. You can take cooking classes at the kitchen. We expect a new session of classes in the fall.
Next for us. We are starting to raise money to expand the capacity of the kitchen so we can support more food entrepreneurs.
Just Because I Care
What would you do if you had an entire commercial kitchen to yourself? Would you test recipes? Invent new ones? Cook for friends? Or have a family bakeoff? Whichever you'd choose, you can have your chance. Pick a night (or day) for fun times in our kitchen; we'll get you set up for 5 hours in the kitchen.
The details. Be creative about your kitchen usage as long as it is legal, safe and will not make our insurance agent upset. We can give you lots of ideas too. We are growing our online presence, please allow us to share photos of your experience on our platforms. Must be used by December 31, 2020.
Hands on, delicious and fun! Join us for virtual cooking classes. This reward gives you access to two interactive cooking classes. Recipes and ingredient lists will be provided when you chose the classes you want to attend. Internet required to access classes. First class scheduled for September 2020.
Let us dress you up with one of our cotton holiday aprons. We will choose from our favorites and send you one to don this holiday season. (If you see a favorite let us know and we will try to accommodate your request.)
Take a peak inside our premier book of recipes. Once inside, you will find some of our favorite eats, from our favorite chefs.
