Project Description

Our mission is to instruct children with autism and other disabilities on communication, social, and independent living skills through an after school program. After school programs don't commonly serve children with disabilities. These students need a place after school where they can be engaged in fun, life-changing instruction provided by a group caring, highly skilled and certified educators who are developing programs tailored to their unique needs.

Social Butterfly School is a new concept and market opportunities are endless. Typically after school programs provide services using a one-on-one model in homes or facilities. We are offering a unique experience where children can learn additional skills, socialize, and have fun.

Lessons incorporate our three main pillars to teach children with disabilities (1) communication (2) social and (3) independent living skills.

We are seeking funding to officially launch our after school program. The funding will be used to:

  • Cover our start-up costs of leasing a space
  • Provide salaries for the first three months of operations
  • Purchase supplies to launch the program.

We are a group of experienced and licensed special education teachers wanting to make a difference for students with disabilities. Thank you for joining us and helping to make a difference in the lives of these children and their families.

Together we can create stronger communities by helping our children with disabilities and their families thrive!
