Molly Apple is an American creative who is currently based in Paris. At 24 years old, she is an aspiring entrepreneur who desires to engage with the fashion industry through her multi-faceted passions. After graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a fine arts degree, she moved to Paris where she obtained her Masters in Fashion Studies from Parsons Paris. Her studies fostered her fascination with fashion publishing where she aimed to fill the gap between glossy mainstream publications and postmodern craving for disruptive imagery. Thus, she founded MERDE Magazine in the spring of 2019, with the intention to create subversive fashion content through a printed product one can hold in their hands. The first issue of MERDE launch in October 2019, and continues to grow and evolve as a biannual print only magazine. Apple has developed a strong collaborative team across a dispersed network that stretches across continents. She continues to seek new talent and leaves the door wide open for entries through social media platforms such as Instagram (@merde_mag).
