I was born in Chicago but was raised in Southern Wisconsin. I grew up working from a young age in my parents restaurants. By age 5, I was making cakes on my own. The long hours of restaurant work convinced me that I would go to college for something different. I chose veterinary because of my love of animals. However, after 4yrs, I missed entrepreneur life and switched degrees to marketing. I moved to the Twin Cities for a job and soon found there was a no cheesecake there! The rest is history. I have operated Muddy Paws Cheesecake in the Twin Cities for over 25 years. My four children, seven rescue pets and I reside in St Louis Park.
